02 MEOW-RELIGION
What do I believe in?
Oh, yeah, that's important, too.
But the cat...Cats are important!
Well, as expected, cats are more important than 'HIM'.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
It has the image of a Buddha, such as a mole on his forehead and large ears, but his religion is not Buddhism. He is cat-mad. Look at him with two cats on his head. His religion is ‘Meow-religion'.
Meow-religion is the religion of people who are in a state of "Oh, I love them so much 😭." I'm talking about people like this, for example. If you see that flexibility, that grotesque posture, and you feel like you're falling in love with them, then yes. You are Meow-religion. I feel like I'm becoming a little bit more flexible when I see their colorful poses.
Is there anything that makes you fall in love with, like, time passes by? I wanted to share that discovering and enjoying what I like can be a more efficient consolation tool than any other religion.
PRE-ORDER INFO
- If you make a pre-order, it takes about one to two months to produce.
- There are not many quantities that can be made at once, so if the production is delayed, we will inform you separately.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
MUTA's ceramic products are handmade. After pouring mud water into a specially made plaster mold in the shape of the Buddha, the shape of the Buddha is drawn out, and then all parts, including the hair, face, and ears, are trimmed with a knife and smoothened with a brush. After drying for 7 to 10 days, it is first fired in a kiln at 800 degrees, polished again with fine sandpaper, then glazed with a brush two to three times and fired twice in a kiln at 1,250 degrees. All ceramic products require concentration and effort to produce the best results.

- Glaze flow marks, small bubble marks, and small dots due to iron components are natural phenomena that occur during glaze and firing.
- In the case of ceramic supports, they may not be perfectly flat due to slight distortion during the high-temperature firing process.
- Pottery products can cause fine cracks on the surface as they are used.
- The above description is a natural phenomenon that occurs during the handmaid process, so it is not defective.
